Introduction

Our Church

Bethany Baptist Church was established in 1900 as a direct result of the growing need for places to worship during the Welsh Revival of the late 1800’s. As a church it has always had the sufficiency of the Scripture for it’s foundation, maintaining an emphasis on Christ as Saviour.

Throughout our history, Bethany’s succession of Pastors have shown a spiritual leadership, progressive vision, and evangelistic zeal that have made Bethany the Church it is today. We preach Christ crucified, risen, and coming again!, and our goal is to engage our community and impact the World with the Message of Jesus Christ.

We love God, love His Word and seek to love one another with a clear emphasis on Bible teaching and preaching in all of our meetings, our aim is to help you understand your purpose and destiny as prescribed in God’s inspired Word.

Matthew 22:36 – 40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
