Genesis 1:1-4 In the beginning God created the heaven and earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that is was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Okay, maybe the establishment of creation a little bit prior to our church in Pontypridd, but what an introduction.

I mean, God; brining all we know and more we do not know, all we see and what is still hidden into existence. But it’s the next part.. God; Introducing Himself:

V3 And God said, let there be light: and there was light.

And’ God said, let there be light.. That purposeful and deliberate act of God. Introducing Himself; to all of that which he had created. The building blocks of all that we know today, even the things that are still hidden from us ‘bathed’ in the glorious light of God.

It is truly amazing that even before the forming of what ‘we’ perceive as His creation, before what we understand as ‘life’. God took the time to introduce Himself with that purposeful intent.

Separating the darkness, moving it away; not a shadow to fade or obscure the glory of God on all His creation

Our Church

I guess that does not give you much idea about our church in Pontypridd, but that is our purpose.

Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it:..

Not to have supernatural powers and set a new creation. That is God’s and only God’s work. We are here to help ‘introduce’ you to God: To allow you to become a new creature through His grace and love, in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away; behold, all things are become new.

As a Church, we have a Tagline/Mantra/statement as Paul wrote to the church of Corinth;

2 Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord..

We hold to the entire truth of the scripture, and are more than aware, we are still sinners, saved by that amazing grace of our Lord.

Paul goes on to say;

v6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We pray that all we do is acceptable to God, and He is raised. We pray that you will feel the light of his Love and come away a new creature.

Please look through the rest of our site, in the hope that you will find out more of our beliefs and background. You can use our social links to contact us, and when you are ready there will always be a warm welcome at any of our services.

May God bless you and keep you…
